Lasso Necklace

For our Spring/Summer 2012 collection "Rising Sun, Melting Moon" we were inspired by the photography of Nobuyoshi Araki - a Japanese photographer known for his long-time fascination with Kinbaku-bi: “the beauty of tight binding” We worked with the jewellers at Meadowlark to create pieces where it looked like thick metal was wound around fingers and in the case of this piece, around the neck.
