Fortress Shirt - Mysterious 20's Woman Print
Description
A new, re-worked version of our popular unisex JOHN FROM ACCOUNTS shirt, this time with a dropped armhole and a wider longer sleeve for a more relaxed & oversized proportion. The FORTRESS shirt also features a box pleated pocket with a pocket flap.
We love it layered up, worn with a matching jersey or mesh top/dress (pictured here with the MR. WAVEY DRESS) or worn open as a lightweight jacket.
The style is the perfect vehicle for the print - this one featuring the "Mysterious 20's Woman" print, a print that is a very close to the designers heart. When the designers grandfather passed away, this image of a mysterious woman was found in a chest of drawers. It turns out his great grandfather was a keen amateur photographer and took this timeless image of a woman with steeply arched eyebrows and cupids bow lips. The textile designer repeated this image that warps and morphs throughout the fabric, disappearing and reemerging like some kind of apparition.
Please note, due to the large scale of the print the placement of the artwork will differ on each garment. This makes each piece a true unique one off.
